Lemon Tiramisu

You have never tried a similar version of the classic Italian dessert. This lemon tiramisu is ideal to refresh and pamper yourself. Several layers of soletas soaked in an Italian lemon syrup, with creamy mascarpone cheese filling with lemon flavor and an unequaled texture. You can not believe it!

  • 1 cup lemon liqueur, for the syrup
  • 1 cup water, for the syrup
  • 1 cup Great Value® granulated sugar, for the syrup
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 packages mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cups lemon juice
  • 30 ladyfingers

  • In a small pot, cook the lemon liqueur with the sugar and water until the sugar dissolves completely. Chill and reserve.
  • With the help of a blender , beat the cream to beat with the mascarpone cheese, the lemon juice, the grated rind, the sugar and the lemon juice until integrating.
  • Soak the soletas in the lemon syrup and place a layer in a refractory or cake mold. Cover with a little of the cream and repeat forming layers until filling the mold.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour, garnish with lemon zest and serve.
