Light Cajeta Flan

  • 190 grams cream cheese, for the mixture
  • 8 egg whites, for the mixture
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the mixture
  • 1 1/2 cups cajeta Burnt, light (for the mixture)
  • 1 cup evaporated milk, light, for the mixture
  • 1/3 cups cajeta Burnt, light
  • 1/3 cups light milk
  • walnuts, for garnish

  • BLEND all the ingredients for the mixture.
  • POUR into a round mold and cover with aluminum foil.
  • PLACE a baking tray with edges in the oven and add hot water, then place the mold with the flan on top of this.
  • BAKE at 180° C for 60 min, turn off the oven, let the flan rest inside for 30 min, chill for 2 hours in the refrigerator, and unmold.
  • MIX the milk with the cajeta and serve the flan cold drizzled with cajeta.
