Liqueur-Filled Almond Chocolates

These are delicious chocolates filled with almond liqueur. They look very elegant and can be used as a gift or served after a meal.

  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, walnut flavor
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 liters cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons almond liqueur
  • 400 grams dark chocolate

  • Mix the cornstarch, egg, and sugar, set aside.
  • Heat the milk and the liqueur, before it boils remove a cup and mix it with the cornstarch from the previous step.
  • Combine everything, stirring continuously, until it has a thick consistency. Let cool.
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and coat the bottom and sides of the molds, let cool.
  • Fill the molds with the liqueur cream and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Carefully pour more chocolate to form the top and let it harden before unmolding.
