Melon Cake

With this recipe, you can prepare a delicious cake made with melon; at the end, you can slice it in half, fill it with whipped cream, and decorate it with red fruits.

  • 270 grams unsalted butter
  • 300 grams powdered sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 can milkmaid
  • 1 melon , medium
  • 500 grams wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder

  • Cream the butter (it's easier if it's at room temperature) with the sugar and gradually add the egg yolks one by one while continuing to beat.
  • Separately blend the melon with the sweetened condensed milk and incorporate it into the previous mixture.
  • Sift the flour with the baking powder 3 times and incorporate it into the mixture with the melon.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the mixture gradually.
  • Pour into a previously greased and floured mold.
  • Bake for approximately 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
