Melon cake

With this recipe you can prepare a delicious cake made from Melon, in the end you can slice it in half, fill it with Chantilly Cream and decorate it with Red Fruits.

  • 270 grams butter
  • 300 grams icing sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 can milkmaid
  • 1 melon, medium
  • 500 grams wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 8 eggs

  • Acremer the butter (it is easier if it is at room temperature) with the sugar and add the yolks one by one while continuing to beat.
  • Apart liquefy the melon with the milkmaid and incorporate to the previous mixture.
  • Sift the flour with the royal 3 times and incorporate the mixture with the melon.
  • Beat the egg whites to the nougat point and introduce the mixture little by little in an enveloping way.
  • Empty a previously greased and floured mold.
  • Bake about 1 hour or until a stick comes out clean.
