Melon Cake

With this recipe, you can prepare a delicious cake made with melon; at the end, you can slice it in half, fill it with whipped cream, and decorate it with red fruits.

270 grams unsalted butter
300 grams powdered sugar
8 eggs
1 can milkmaid
1 melon , medium
500 grams wheat flour
2 tablespoons baking powder

Cream the butter (it's easier if it's at room temperature) with the sugar and gradually add the egg yolks one by one while continuing to beat.
Separately blend the melon with the sweetened condensed milk and incorporate it into the previous mixture.
Sift the flour with the baking powder 3 times and incorporate it into the mixture with the melon.
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the mixture gradually.
Pour into a previously greased and floured mold.
Bake for approximately 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
