Suspiro Limeño Peru

A delicious dessert that I tried in Lima, Peru, I recommend it for enjoying with your friends, easy, quick, and delicious. Super easy and I hope you enjoy it :)

  • 350 milliliters evaporated milk
  • 350 milliliters condensed milk
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 235 grams sugar
  • 125 milliliters pisco, It can be port wine.
  • vanilla essence
  • cinnamon powder

  • Pour the milks and essence into a pot and place over low heat. Remove from heat and add the egg yolks. Pour into small cups or glasses. Let it cool.
  • Make a syrup with the sugar and pisco. Bring to a simmer until it reaches the right consistency. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add the syrup until it cools.
  • Decorate the glasses with this meringue and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
