Very delicious capirotada, with a flavor very different from that of piloncillo. A unique and delightful dessert that everyone at home will love. You have to prepare it and treat them all.
In a well-washed and dried baking dish or clay pot, spread butter.
Arrange a layer of toasted bread.
Add raisins, peanuts, walnuts, and pieces of cheese on top of the bread.
Repeat the same process from the previous step until the layer of toasted bread reaches the top.
In a pan, add evaporated milk with a cinnamon stick, heat it up, and when it’s almost boiling, add the condensed milk and turn off the heat, removing the cinnamon stick.
Slowly pour the milk mixture over the dish with bread, allowing it to absorb the mixture until well soaked.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the liquid is completely absorbed and the top layer begins to brown slightly.
Remove from the oven, let it cool a bit, and decorate with coconut and sprinkles.
