Mini Orange and Orange Blossom Fritters

If you love sweet bread, these mini orange and orange blossom fritters are perfect for your cravings, whether in the morning or after a meal, accompanied by coffee. They are also ideal for the Day of the Dead season, as they have a touch of orange and orange blossom. You won't be able to stop eating them!

  • 1 cup water, 250 ml
  • 1/4 cups butter, 50 g
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cups flour, 150 g
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder, 10 g
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom essence
  • 3 eggs
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • sugar, for sprinkling

  • In a T-Fal Hard Titanium Pot, heat the water, butter, and salt. When it starts to boil, add the flour, baking powder, orange zest, and orange blossom essence. Stir and cook for 10 minutes, or until a dough forms. Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm.
  • Add the eggs one by one, stirring continuously to integrate them perfectly. Mix until you achieve a creamy, lump-free mixture.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a T-Fal Hard Titanium Pot. Using a spoon, take some of the fritter mixture and fry for approximately 3 minutes. Remove from the oil, drain, and coat with sugar.
  • Serve and enjoy with coffee.
