Mixed Fruit Compote

Delicious recipe for a healthy dessert for the whole family and a very good source of vitamin C and iron.

  • 1/2 cups strawberry , sliced
  • 1/3 cups raspberries
  • 2 apricots, finely chopped dried
  • 1 prunes, finely chopped
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
  • 1 pear, small chopped
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, natural
  • 1 pinch ground ginger

  • Mix all the fruit in a large bowl.
  • In another small bowl, mix the orange juice and ginger. Pour the mixture over the fruit and stir. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the fruit compote slightly just before serving.
