Mostachón is a cake made with egg whites, nuts, cream cheese, and a sweet vanilla flavor; it is important to handle it carefully because it is very fragile.
Beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, then gradually add the baking powder, sugar, and vanilla. Once everything is incorporated, gently fold in the crushed cookies and chopped nuts.
Pour into a removable mold lined with parchment paper on the bottom and sides to help prevent breaking.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 45 minutes or until crispy.
For the frosting, whip the cream and set aside. Beat the cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla, then gently fold in the whipped cream so it doesn't deflate.
Frost the mostachón and decorate with strawberries.
