Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2/3 cups peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and place paper liners in a mold.
  • Sift the flours and mix with baking powder and salt.
  • Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy.
  • Gradually add the eggs and milk.
  • Once mixed, gradually add the flour mixture and beat until combined.
  • Gradually add the chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.
  • Place the mixture in the molds using a spoon.
  • Bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 180°C.
  • Remove the mold from the oven and let it cool on a rack.
