Rompope and Cherry Muffins

90 grams butter, softened
80 grams sugar
125 grams flour, sifted
2 eggs
90 milliliters rompope
1 teaspoon baking powder
15 cherries, chopped

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius for at least 20 minutes.
Cream the butter with the sugar until you achieve a smooth and fluffy mixture.
Incorporate the eggs one by one and beat until fully integrated.
Pour in the sifted flour and baking powder.
Once the previous mixture is well beaten, it’s time to incorporate the cherries and the rompope.
Fill the muffin molds with the mixture, almost to the edge.
Lower the oven temperature to 200 degrees and bake for approximately 15 minutes, this will depend on the oven.
They will be ready when they are slightly golden and when you do the toothpick test, it comes out dry.
