Cheese and Bacon Muffins

These muffins with melted cheese and crispy bacon are the perfect combination for a snack or as a starter for a main dish. They are delicious, and eating them fresh out of the oven is a delight!

2 teaspoons baking powder
2 pinches salt
1 egg
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cups butter, melted
1/2 teaspoons garlic
1/2 teaspoons onion, powder
100 grams bacon, cut into small cubes
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

In a skillet, fry the bacon until golden. Use a paper towel to remove excess fat. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 200ºC.
In a deep bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients: milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredient mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Gently fold in the grated cheese.
Finally, gently fold in the bacon.
Grease a mold for 6 muffins.
Pour the mixture into each mold until it is filled 2/3 full.
Bake for 20 minutes.
