Grease a round mold and line it with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Beat the eggs on the highest speed in a mixer or whisk until they triple in volume, about 6 minutes. The consistency of the eggs is key for the recipe to work, so make sure the volume is tripled.
Measure the nutella in a measuring cup and microwave it for 20 seconds to make it softer. Add 1/3 of the egg mixture. Gently fold with a spatula in the same direction until well combined. Do the same with the remaining 2/3, adding 1/3 first and then the other. Try not to deflate the foam.
Pour the final mixture into the mold and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a knife or toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before serving.
