Oatmeal and Cinnamon Cookies

  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  • In a bowl, beat the butter with a mixer until it reaches a creamy consistency (the butter should be at room temperature).
  • Then, when the butter is creamy, add the sugar and a pinch of salt, and beat a little more.
  • Add the egg and beat slightly, then add the cinnamon, milk, and flour along with the baking powder, mixing until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Finally, add the oats and mix with a spatula so that the flakes do not break. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, use a spoon to place small portions of the mixture in the shape of balls. Keep them spaced apart as they will expand. Remove from the oven when they are golden.
