Oatmeal cookies with chocolate and blueberries

Rich soft oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips and blueberries.

  • 1 cup butter, (2 bars)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cups cranberries

  • Preheat the oven to 180 cubic centigrade and prepare a tray with a sheet of waxed paper. Grease with vegetable spray.
  • In an electric mixer , beat the butter at room temperature and the sugar until well blended. Add the eggs and beat. Add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  • With a large spoon place portions of the dough on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes and remove from the oven. Place on a rack and allow them to cool.
