Orange Cake

Very delicious, you must try it; it's an old recipe from my mom's cookbook, very easy to prepare.

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cups orange juice, concentrated
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • orange zest
  • 200 grams margarine, butter

  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy, gradually incorporate the other ingredients, mixing with a rubber spatula. Once everything is well combined, pour it into a mold of your choice.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Celsius, place the mixture in the oven for 35 minutes. If it pulls away from the sides of the mold, it's ready. Insert a toothpick; if it comes out clean, the cake is done. Dust with powdered sugar.
