Panna Cotta

An Italian dessert similar to gelatin with a mild flavor on the palate. This gelatin has a subtle vanilla taste that makes it a very delicious dessert. It is usually served with a red fruit coulis, but you can make it with any fruit you like. Prepare it and surprise everyone.

  • 1 liter whipping cream
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cups sugar

  • Boil the cream with the sugar for 10 minutes until it boils and remove from heat.
  • Soak the gelatin in cold water and add it to the cream, stirring with a whisk until fully dissolved.
  • Pour into a gelatin mold, place in the refrigerator to set.
  • If you want to make a fruit syrup to drizzle over the panna cotta when serving
