Papaya Cream

A fresh and delicious recipe that you will love during hot weather!

  • 1 papaya
  • 1 liter vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup cassis liqueur, (Blackcurrant)

  • When selecting the papaya, choose the ripest one that is soft and sweet.
  • In a blender, place the papaya with a splash of water and/or whole milk, just enough to blend.
  • On the side, take out the ice cream to let it soften a bit and be easy to handle.
  • Once you have the papaya puree, mix it with the vanilla ice cream; it will take on an orange color, like the papaya. Pour it into molds and place it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Once they are well chilled, or their consistency is firm, serve and add 3 teaspoons of cassis liqueur on top of each cup. To garnish, you can add a couple of mint leaves.
