When selecting the papaya, choose the ripest one that is soft and sweet.
In a blender, place the papaya with a splash of water and/or whole milk, just enough to blend.
On the side, take out the ice cream to let it soften a bit and be easy to handle.
Once you have the papaya puree, mix it with the vanilla ice cream; it will take on an orange color, like the papaya. Pour it into molds and place it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Once they are well chilled, or their consistency is firm, serve and add 3 teaspoons of cassis liqueur on top of each cup. To garnish, you can add a couple of mint leaves.
