Peaches with eggnog

A recipe so classic that never goes out of style are the peaches with rompopo. The rompope is a Mexican drink made by the nuns, this drink mixed with peaches tastes delicious.

  • 1 can canned peaches
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 30 milliliters brandy
  • 350 milliliters rompope

  • Strain the peaches in syrup and set aside. Cut the peaches in half and again in half to have quarters.
  • Put to melt the butter in a pan and add the quarters of peaches. Sprinkle the sugar over the peaches and move carefully so as not to break them and caramelize.
  • Add the brandy to the hot pan to flame.
  • Once the alcohol has evaporated add the eggnog and mix carefully. Bathe the peaches constantly with the eggnog and leave for 2 to 4 minutes until the desired thickness is reached.
