Pear Tart

This delicious dessert is very easy to make and a great way to create a tart. It can also be made with other fruits.

  • 1 leaf puff pastry
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter
  • 1/4 brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 6 pears, peeled, sliced
  • vanilla ice cream, for serving

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Combine the sugar with the cinnamon in a bowl.
  • With a rolling pin, roll out your puff pastry sheet and spread with unsalted butter and half of the sugar with cinnamon.
  • Cut into 6 rectangular pieces.
  • Place 1 sliced pear on each rectangle. Top with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
  • Bake your tart for 20-25 minutes or until the puff pastry is lightly golden.
