750 grams golden apple
200 grams flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
200 grams butter
100 grams sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoons lime zest
4 eggs
4 tablespoons cow's milk
50 grams almonds
3 tablespoons icing sugar
1 tablespoon sugar

Peel apples and slice them thinly. Beat 200 g butter with 100 g sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well between each. Add vanilla and zest.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Sift flour with baking powder. Add to the butter mixture alternating with milk and ground almonds.
Place the batter in a greased and floured Spring Form pan. Arrange the apples on top and sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350ºF. Remove from the oven, cool for 10 minutes, and unmold. Once cool, dust with powdered sugar.
