Frozen Banana Pie with Cajeta

I present to you my favorite pie, it's a recipe that we love in my house, it's a delicious Frozen Banana Pie with cajeta. It's quick to make and has such a rich flavor that you'll always want to prepare it.

  • 21 cookies, vanilla flavor (ground)
  • 1/4 butter
  • water, necessary amount
  • 1/2 cups cajeta, (filling)
  • 1 banana, (filling)
  • 500 grams cream cheese, (filling)
  • 1 can condensed milk, (filling)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice, (filling)
  • walnuts, to taste (filling)

  • Mix: crushed cookies, butter, and 2 tablespoons of water until a manageable dough forms. Line a #20 mold with the same dough. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 180° C or until the tart shell is firm and hard.
  • For the filling: beat until smooth: Cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk, until it is slightly sweet, but not completely sweet.
  • Pour into the tart pan: (in this order) Cajeta, nuts, sliced bananas (dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning), 1 layer of slightly sweetened cream cheese, repeat the same procedure. Finally, garnish with banana slices and drizzle a bit of cajeta on top of the pie.
