Mango Pie

Try this delicious mango dessert, perfect for mango lovers. Its flavor is unique and it’s very easy to make.

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 340 grams María cookies
  • 6 mangoes
  • 14 grams natural unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cups water

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the base: Blend the Maria cookies in the blender until you have 1 ½ cups.
  • Melt the butter.
  • Combine the crushed cookie with the sugar and butter in a bowl. Pour into the pie mold and press down firmly to compress.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the cookie is golden. Let cool.
  • To prepare the filling: Sprinkle the natural gelatin over a cup of water, let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens.
  • Heat the cup with the already hydrated gelatin in a pot with water, stirring until dissolved.
  • Cut the four ripest mangoes, scoop out the pulp with a spoon, and blend in a blender.
  • Add the cheese, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, yogurt, the hydrated gelatin, and blend until you have a very smooth mixture.
  • Pour the mango mixture over the cookie base and refrigerate until set.
  • Unmold, cut the other 2 mangoes into slices, and decorate the pie.
