Nut Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 22 cm round mold.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the butter until creamy, add the sugar, mix, and add the egg. Add the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Pour the dough into the mold, forming an even layer, and bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  • In a bowl, mix the walnuts with the condensed milk, the egg, and a pinch of salt. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  • Pour over the freshly baked dough and cover the mold with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, carefully remove and gently take off the aluminum foil. Bake for an additional 10-13 minutes until golden. Let cool completely on a wire rack; refrigerate before cutting and serving.
