Walnut and Date Pie

Delicious pie made with walnuts and dates, perfect for sharing at Christmas dinner, New Year's, or any special event. Easy to make since everything is blended in a blender.

  • 1 cup walnuts, (half for the mixture and the rest for decoration)
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 5 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 package María cookies
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Prepare the crust: Grind the cookies in a food processor or blender, pour into a pie pan, and mix with the butter until a paste forms. Line the pan with the paste.
  • Pour half of the walnuts, the dates, the eggs, the condensed milk, and the vanilla into the blender. Blend.
  • Pour into the cookie crust. Decorate with the remaining walnuts, either whole or in pieces.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool.
