Pink Mousse

You will find it very entertaining to make, and it's ideal for entering the art of pastry; this strawberry mousse recipe is perfect for sharing with your loved ones.

  • 1/2 kilos strawberries
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 8 tablespoons water, fry
  • 2 egg whites

  • Wash the strawberries well, remove the stems and leaves, place them with the sugar in the blender. Blend until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a small pot, dissolve the gelatin with the tablespoons of cold water. Heat for one minute until it boils, stirring constantly. Be careful not to burn it.
  • Return the gelatin to the blender mixture and blend again for a few seconds until well integrated.
  • Carefully separate the egg whites, place them in a bowl, and add 2 tablespoons of sugar; whisk a bit until they hold their shape.
  • In another bowl, place the heavy cream and whip it with two tablespoons of sugar until you achieve a thick but not stiff cream.
  • Finally, in a bowl, combine the blender mixture, the cream, and the egg whites. Mix gently so that the ingredients integrate, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
