Pistachio and Vanilla Marble Cake

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons D'Gari vanilla essence
  • 7 eggs
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons REXAL® baking powder
  • 1 envelope D’Gari® pistachio gelatin dessert, pistachio flavor, (120 g)
  • 1 envelope D´Gari® vanilla gelatin dessert
  • icing sugar, for decoration
  • pistachios, for decoration

  • For the cake, beat the butter with the sugar until smooth, add D´Gari® vanilla essence, add the eggs one by one, the sour cream, the flour, the salt, Rexal® Baking Powder, and beat until you have a homogeneous and smooth mixture.
  • Divide the preparation into 2 equal parts, add D´Gari® pistachio flavor gelatin to one part, and beat vigorously to eliminate lumps; add D´Gari® vanilla flavor gelatin to the other part, and beat until combined.
  • Pour a little of the vanilla mixture and alternate with the pistachio mixture; gently stir with a spoon. Bake at 170 °C for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Set aside and let cool.
  • Unmold and decorate with powdered sugar and pistachio. Enjoy with a cup of coffee.
