  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cups Gamesa® pancake mix
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cups vegetable shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 1 cup ripe banana, and mashed

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Grease a rectangular loaf pan with butter and dust with flour.
  • Mix the flour, Gamesa® Hot Cake Flour, walnuts, baking powder, and baking soda in a deep bowl and set aside.
  • In a mixer, beat the vegetable shortening with the sugar for 1 minute until smooth. Add the flour mixture, mashed bananas, and eggs, alternating between each one.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
