This is my favorite dessert; the main ingredient, cream, gives it an unmatched flavor. Its softness and sweet touch are perfect for pairing with coffee or chocolate this Christmas.

250 grams flour
1 pinch salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
250 milliliters clotted cream, liquid
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup cow's milk

Sift the flour with the baking powder.
Cream the cream with the sugar in a bowl using a mixer for 3 minutes or until smooth and well incorporated.
Incorporate alternately the flour with the milk, and finally add vanilla and the zest of 1/2 lemon gently with a spatula.
Once all the ingredients are combined, pour into a previously floured ring mold.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 180ºC.
