Cream Bread Ring

This is my favorite dessert; the main ingredient, cream, gives it an unmatched flavor. Its softness and sweet touch are perfect for pairing with coffee or chocolate this Christmas.

  • 250 grams flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 250 milliliters clotted cream, liquid
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup cow's milk

  • Sift the flour with the baking powder.
  • Cream the cream with the sugar in a bowl using a mixer for 3 minutes or until smooth and well incorporated.
  • Incorporate alternately the flour with the milk, and finally add vanilla and the zest of 1/2 lemon gently with a spatula.
  • Once all the ingredients are combined, pour into a previously floured ring mold.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 180ºC.
