Banana Bread

A delicious banana bread recipe to enjoy with family, friends, or wherever and with whomever you like.

  • 5 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup Gloria® butter unsalted butter, paste
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons ginger
  • 1/4 tablespoons ground cloves
  • walnuts, to taste
  • raisins, to taste

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C
  • Mash the bananas until well mashed
  • In a bowl, beat the mashed bananas, oil, eggs, vanilla, and sugar.
  • In another bowl, beat the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon.
  • Combine the two mixtures in one bowl.
  • Add nuts and raisins if desired.
  • Butter and flour the chosen baking mold and add the mixture.
  • Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes. When the cooking time is up, insert a toothpick to check if it is fully cooked. If it comes out clean, it means it is done; if it comes out stained with the mixture, leave it in the oven for longer.
  • Let them cool.
