  • 1/2 cups butter, at room temperature, for the cake
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the cake
  • 3 eggs, for the cake
  • 2 cups Tres Estrellas® flour for hot cakes, for the cake (800 g presentation)
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, for the cake
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence, for the cake
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder, for the cake
  • 3 tablespoons lime zest, for the cake
  • 1 cup icing sugar, for the glaze
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice, for the glaze
  • 1 lemon, in slices, for decoration

  • Beat the butter until it forms a paste with the sugar. Then, add the eggs, Tres Estrellas® Hot Cake Flour, lemon juice, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and finally, the lemon zest.
  • Beat for 5 minutes or until you achieve a completely homogeneous and smooth mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a previously greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 180 °C for 55 minutes, cool, and set aside.
  • For the glaze: in a bowl, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice until you achieve a semi-thick and shiny consistency. Pour the glaze over the lemon cake and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Decorate with lemon slices and lemon zest.
  • Cut a slice and serve with a glass of milk.
