Lemon Pound Cake Toam

My husband loves it when I cook him a dessert daily, obviously different each time; I had run out of ideas and time, so I remembered he likes it tart and sweet, with chocolate, bread, ready, something easy and quick, a lemon pound cake that wouldn't take me long, and he loved it, especially because he likes it with a pudding-like texture, so I made it a bit moist, he barely let me have a taste.

  • Mix in a bowl flour, sugar, baking powder, and sugar, set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • In another bowl, whisk together oil, cream, milk, eggs, lemon, and vanilla until it thickens a bit; the lemon achieves this effect in the mixture.
  • Add this mixture to the previous one, gently folding until everything is combined, continue whisking until you notice that the sugar has integrated and there are no lumps.
  • Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and decorate with chocolate chips.
  • Bake in the oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test and has a golden crust on top.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool before removing from the pan.
