Marble Loaf with Vanilla Ice Cream

For this holiday season, prepare this delicious marble loaf with Oikos® Yogurt that is covered with a delicious Vanilla Danette® Custard and decorated with red chocolate. Perfect for the occasion!

  • 90 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups Oikos® plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cups cocoa
  • 190 grams cream cheese, at room temperature, for the frosting
  • 1 Danette® Vanilla Custard, for the frosting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the frosting
  • 1/2 cups chocolate, red color, melted for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • With the help of an electric mixer, cream the butter with the sugar. Gradually add the eggs.
  • Mix the powders, except for the cocoa, and add to the mixture alternating with the Oikos® Natural Yogurt and the vanilla.
  • Divide the mixture in two and mix one with the cocoa. Pour the mixture into the pan and marble with the help of a knife. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked. Cool and unmold.
  • For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with the Vanilla Danette® Custard and the vanilla. Set aside.
  • Cover the loaf with the frosting and decorate with the chocolate.
