Orange Pound Cake

Delicious orange pound cake to accompany a cup of coffee.

  • 150 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 390 grams condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons orange liqueur

  • Cream the butter and add the sweetened condensed milk and eggs, beating until well mixed at medium speed.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients while continuing to beat, and finally add the orange zest.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, unmold, and add the glaze.
  • Glaze: Boil the juice, liqueur, and sugar until it reduces to a honey-like syrup.
