In an electric mixer, beat the sugar, egg, oil, piloncillo, and pumpkin puree.
Add the water and continue mixing.
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and spices.
With a spatula, pour the flour into the egg mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a round or loaf baking pan and bake at 150ºC for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven.
Let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes and remove from the mold.
For the glaze, gradually pour orange juice into the powdered sugar until a perfect glaze forms.
Add the glaze on top of the bread.
