1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cups vegetable oil
1/2 cups granulated piloncillo
1/2 cups pumpkin purée
1/2 cups water
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1/4 tablespoons clove powder
1/8 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 cup walnuts
1 cup icing sugar
1/4 oranges, the juice

In an electric mixer, beat the sugar, egg, oil, brown sugar, and pumpkin puree.
Add the water and continue beating.
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and spices.
Using a spatula, pour the flour into the egg mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a circular or muffin pan and bake at 150ºC for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven.
Allow cake to cool for 10-15 minutes and remove from pan.
For the glaze, gradually pour drops of orange into the icing sugar until it forms a perfect glaze.
Add the frosting on top of the muffin.
