Quesillo

This Venezuelan Quesillo is a typical dessert made with condensed milk, considered an alternative version of the famous Spanish flan, and is perfect for finishing a delicious meal.

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC. In a baking dish, make the caramel using the sugar and water.
  • Place all the other ingredients in the blender and mix well until everything is combined.
  • Place in the oven in a water bath, covered, for approximately 1:30 or until a fork or knife inserted comes out clean.
  • When the caramel is ready, cold, and distributed throughout the baking dish, pour the previous mixture.
  • Let cool in the oven for 1 hour, then transfer to the refrigerator and let rest for at least 2 hours before unmolding and serving.
