Raspberry Clafouti

Clafouti comes from France and is a very easy dessert to prepare. This clafouti is made with raspberries but you can use any fruit, such as figs, strawberries, or grapes.

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 egg, large
  • 3 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 3 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cups raspberries

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Grease 6 souffle ramekins with butter and sprinkle with sugar, covering all the edges.
  • Whisk the eggs with the sugar, milk, cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the flour and stir well.
  • Divide the raspberries among the baking ramekins and pour the mixture on top of the raspberries.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until golden and the center is cooked.
