Red Wine Jelly with Strawberries

Use this recipe to make a delicious Red Wine Jelly with Strawberries; you will love the combination of the wine flavor and the sweetness of the strawberries. It is the ideal dessert for a special occasion.

  • 1 package cherry gelatin
  • 1/2 cups hibiscus flower water
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 2 cups strawberries, servings
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • In a saucepan, put 1 cup of water and hibiscus, boil for 3 minutes. Let it rest for a bit and strain. Measure to have 1/2 cup and return to the saucepan with the sugar. In that hot water, dissolve the gelatin by stirring until the sugar and gelatin are well dissolved.
  • Add the wine and lemon juice and pour into a mold, add the strawberries and place in the refrigerator to set until the next day.
  • Unmold and decorate with strawberries and mint leaves.
