REGGAE BOYS GELATIN

This Reggae Boys Gelatin is made with hibiscus and is ideal to enjoy on hot days or as a dessert any other day of the week.

  • 3 cups hibiscus flower water without sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • In a cup of hibiscus water, dissolve two tablespoons of gelatin and heat it in a double boiler until it boils.
  • Mix it with the milk and stir vigorously until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture to fill half of the capacity of a greased mold, and refrigerate until set.
  • In another cup of hibiscus water, dissolve the remaining gelatin and heat it in a double boiler until it boils. Remove from heat, add the rest of the hibiscus water, and sweeten to your liking.
  • With an absorbent paper, dry the surface of the set milk gelatin, pour in the hibiscus water, and refrigerate until set.
