An Italian and delicious dessert, fluffy with an incredible orange flavor. You have to try it!

  • 250 grams flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 9 grams yeast
  • 2 grams salt
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 oranges, zest
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, the juice of one piece
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form with a pinch of salt and set aside.
  • Beat the yolks with the sugar. Add the oil, the juice, and the orange zest, along with the flour mixed with the baking powder. Mix until you achieve a cream.
  • Gently fold the cream with the whipped egg whites; pour the mixture into a lightly greased and floured mold
  • Bake for 40 minutes and, when serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
