  • In another deep bowl with an electric mixer, beat the sugar and butter until you get a fluffy mixture. Add the vanilla and eggs and continue beating.
  • Add the flour mixture and beat slowly until fully incorporated. With your hands, form 3 balls with the dough, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • With a rolling pin, flatten each circle between two sheets of plastic wrap to prevent sticking. Remove the plastic and use a snowflake-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the cookies, place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with plastic wrap and freeze for 15 minutes or until frozen.
  • Prepare another baking sheet by greasing it with vegetable spray and place the cookies on it. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on a rack.
  • Make the frosting by combining all the ingredients and whisking with a balloon whisk. Divide into two batches and add 1 drop of blue food coloring to one batch.
  • Decorate the cookies with the frosting and serve.
