These rich sugar and vanilla cookies are cut into snowflakes and decorated with a simple icing of icing sugar.

Preparation
In a deep bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.
In another deep bowl with an electric mixer beat the sugar and butter until you get a fluffy mixture. Add vanilla and eggs and continue whisking.
Add the flour mixture and beat slowly until all the dough is incorporated. With your hands make 3 balls with the dough, cover with plastic paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and allow it to settle for 10 minutes.
With a roller, press each circle between two plastic papers so that it does not stick. Remove the plastic and with a cutter of cookies in the form of snowflakes cut the cookies, place the cookies in a tray to bake with plastic paper and freeze for 15 minutes or until they are frozen.
Prepare another baking tray by greasing it with vegetable spray and placing the cookies. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven.
Allow the cookies to cool on a rack.
Make the glaze combining all the ingredients and beating with a balloon whisk. Divide into two batches and a batche add 1 drop of blue dye.
Decorate the cookies with the glaze and serve.
