Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie recipe with chocolate chips is excellent. Cookies come out soft, even after they have cooled. They taste great accompanied by a ball of vanilla ice cream.

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F or 180 C.
  • Melt the butter in a pot over low heat.
  • Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl.
  • Put the melted butter in the blender . Add the sugar and brown sugar. Beat at medium speed.
  • Add the egg yolk, egg, 2 tablespoons of milk and the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture.
  • Incorporate the chocolate chips.
  • Put the dough in the refrigerator for a few minutes to cool.
  • With a scoop of ice cream, make balls of the dough and place the balls on a baking sheet on baking paper.
  • Cook for 14 minutes or until golden brown. You should check the cookies after 5 minutes in the oven to avoid overcooking.
  • Let cool and enjoy!
