Spider Sandwich

Make these fun and delicious spider sandwiches, filled with creamy homemade peanut butter and rich raspberry jam. Add pretzels to simulate the spider legs and give your kids a fun lunch.

  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch Great Value® salt
  • 2 tablespoons soybean oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 20 white breads
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1/4 cups bittersweet chocolate, melted

  • In a low heat skillet, toast the peanuts until they are a golden color.
  • In a food processor, place the peanuts, sugar, sunflower oil, vanilla extract and process until you obtain peanut butter.
  • Using a cutter, cut the bread into circles and add a bit of peanut butter, raspberry jam, and place another piece of bread on top.
  • Insert the pretzel sticks into the edges of the bread to form the legs. Use a toothpick to make the eyes with chocolate, let it dry and enjoy. Buy HERE
