We bring you a fun and very original marzipan chocolate cake that has a spectacular look and you only need 10 ingredients to prepare it. Leave your guests in awe and dare to make this soft striped cake!
2 tablespoons butter, Melted, (for three, to obtain 3 cakes)
2 packages cream cheese, (190 g each) for the filling
1 cup peanut butter, for the filling
2 cups hazelnut chocolate cream, for the filling
cocoa, for decorating

Preheat the oven to 180° C.
For the cake, beat the eggs with the sugar, marzipan, and flour until combined.
Separately, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, add to the yolk mixture, and fold gently. Add the butter and fold in gently.
Pour the previous mixture into a tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool and set aside. Repeat twice to obtain three cake layers.
For the filling, beat the cream cheese with the peanut butter and hazelnut cream. Set aside.
Align the cakes using a ruler to form a rectangle and cut in half. Repeat until you have a total of 5 rectangles.
Spread one half of the cake with a bit of the chocolate filling and place the other half on top. Repeat until you have 5 layers.
Cut crosswise into 4 rectangles measuring 5 cm wide by 10 cm long.
Attach a vertically oriented rectangle with a bit of frosting to another oriented horizontally. On top, attach the remaining two in reverse order.
Cover the cake with the remaining frosting and smooth it out with a spatula. Refrigerate for a few minutes.
Decorate with cocoa powder.
