Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries

Start your mornings with this delicious stuffed French toast with strawberries and FAGE Total® 0% Greek Yogurt. It’s very easy to make and is a unique way to serve classic French toast. It will be your family's favorite breakfast treat.

  • 1 cup FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 1 artisan bread roll
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar

  • Chop the strawberries, previously washed and sanitized, into small cubes. Mix the strawberries with FAGE Total® 0% Greek Yogurt.
  • Cut a slice of rustic bread and use a serrated knife to cut it in half to create a pocket.
  • Fill the slice of bread with the strawberry and FAGE Total® 0% Greek Yogurt mixture.
  • Beat the eggs and add the milk. Dip the stuffed bread in the mixture and cook it in a hot skillet with butter. Let it cook for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it over the French toast.
