Sugar-Free Tiramisu

This tiramisu is an ideal recipe for diabetics and people trying to follow a low-carb, healthy diet. It is made with a mixture of sour cream and low-fat cream cheese. It uses a small amount of cookies but does not lose its flavor.

  • 500 grams low-fat sour cream
  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups low-fat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups espresso coffee
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 200 grams nutty finger
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, sugar-free
  • 500 grams cream cheese, room temperature

  • In a bowl, mix the sour cream, cream cheese at room temperature, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Beat with a mixer on high speed until smooth.
  • Add the coffee and coffee liqueur.
  • Arrange a layer of ladyfinger cookies (cut in half lengthwise) in a pyrex dish, placing the cut side up.
  • Brush the cookies with half of the coffee.
  • Place half of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Repeat with the remaining cookies, then the coffee mixture, and finally the cream cheese mixture. Dust with cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate for 4-24 hours. Cut into squares and serve.
