This delicious recipe for crepes with pears is a different way to present the traditional crepe. The combination is perfect, try making this simple dessert.
Peel the pears, cut into pieces and set aside; boil in a pot with the wine and sugar for 2 or 3 minutes. Add the pears and cook until just tender.
Remove the pears and continue cooking the syrup, adding the long strips of peel for another 5 minutes. Remove the strips and the pot from the heat.
Melt the butter in a saucepan; add the flour and stir for a few seconds; remove from heat and gradually add the orange juice, then the syrup, reserving the well-drained strips.
Stir over low heat until this cream boils for a minute, warm it and flavor with vanilla essence.
Place a pear on each crepe and fold the edges of the dough upwards, tying them along with the top of the pear using strips of orange that will be softened and flavored by cooking.
