Place the marshmallows in a heat-resistant container and melt them using a double boiler, or in the microwave adding two tablespoons of water, letting them completely melt.
In a bowl, place the sifted powdered sugar, pour in the melted marshmallows, and mix vigorously with the help of a spatula until the dough is well combined.
Then knead with your hands until the dough is smooth and pliable, not sticking to your hands. Store it in a plastic bag or cover it with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.
Remove the dough and roll it out on the work surface using a rolling pin, then cover the cake.
